Shipping and Return Polices

Shipping Policy: Any wine sold to you from The Bottle Shop is sold in Illinois and title passes to you, the buyer, in Illinois. The Bottle Shop is a licensed retailer in the state of Illinois only. Therefore we make no representation concerning your legal rights to ship or receive wine into any state outside of Illinois. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to your selected destination. You must be 21 years or older to buy wine. By placing your order with The Bottle Shop you certify under penalty of perjury that you and the recipient are at least 21 years old. When the wine is delivered, the recipient will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old.

Return policy: All sales are final. Please notify The Bottle Shop of any problems with your order within 30 days of the delivery date. We reserve the right to charge a 10% restocking fee.

Delivery: We do everything to safeguard our wines from heat or cold damage in transit. We will not ship wine if it is either too hot or too cold to safely ship wine. It is your responsibility to be present at the time of delivery. You are responsible for any additional shipping and handling charges incurred as a result of the carrier's inability to deliver the package(s). It is your responsibility to notify The Bottle Shop immediately of any breakage or loss during shipping.

Adult Signature Required : You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase wine from The Bottle Shop. All packages sent out by The Bottle Shop REQUIRE an adult signature upon delivery.
